The last few weeks have been so much fun!
I’m slowly expanding my public reach through Facebook author takeover parties. For those who’ve never done these, they are basically a chance to showcase my work and who I am on other Facebook pages to a new audience.
Hopefully, they will expose new readers to my work, but I’ve also had the lovely bonus of meeting other authors who write in similar genres as I do.
What does this mean? Well, I’m meeting interesting new people for sure! But I’m also devouring books at a rather alarming rate. Just when I think okay, it’s time to slow down and do my own thing, I read another blurb and see another book I just have to have. So if you’re on my mailing list, I’ll be mentioning some books I think you may like (or that I loved!)
Brand new today as well, I finished my new novelette, Fiona’s Gift!
As a Prequel to Dream of Darkness, this novelette follows Cat’s Grandmother in her own journey of discovery. Here’s a brief description –
Fiona yearns for something beyond her quiet life in 1940’s Scotland.
When her father is killed in the war, her path seems destined to be one hard work and family obligations.
Then one day, she begins to have visions of a handsome young Airforce pilot.
Suddenly, Fiona discovers the world is nothing like what she thought it was.
She will find a strength she never knew she had and learn that sometimes with danger, come the greatest rewards.
I’ve just put it up in Kindle unlimited, and it should be available tomorrow!
Next on the agenda is finishing book 5, Vanessa’s story.
Tentatively planned for September, I’m very excited to see where this one takes me.
Have a great July and I will post as soon as I have more information to share! As always, follow me for more regular updates on my Facebook page, H. M. Gooden author, or on my fan page,

Ciao for now,
